Scholarships

Academic Scholarship

Students aspiring for academic scholarship need to submit an application letter addressed to the Vice President for Academic Affairs through their respective Deans. The Dean accepts the application, endorses it to the Registrar for grade verification and submits it to the VPAA, who convenes the Scholarship and Awards Committee to evaluate and rank the applicants based on their Grade Point Average (GPA). The Committee recommends to the School President the qualified academic scholars. One (1%) percent of the total population of undergraduate enrollees in the current semester determines the number of academic scholars.

    a. Full Academic Scholarship. A hundred percent (100%) free-from-tuition-fee privilege shall be granted to students who meet the following requirements:

      • Grade point average of 1.25 and above;
      • NO GRADE below 1.75 in all subjects;
      • NO NG mark for any subjects;
      • A load of at least 21 units or as prescribed by their curriculum;
      • NO derogatory records; and
      • Morally upright.

    b. Partial Academic Scholarship. A fifty percent (50%) tuition fee discount shall be granted to students who meet the requirements:

      • Grade point average of 1.26 to 1.75;
      • No grade below 2.0 in all subjects;
      • NO NG mark for any subjects;
      • A load of at least 21 units or as prescribed by their curriculum;
      • NO derogatory records; and
      • Morally upright.

Sports Scholarship

All recipients of the Sports Scholarship must maintain at least a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and no Failed or NG mark in all of his/her subjects to avail of the scholarship.

    a.Full Athletic Scholarships shall be granted to students who are members of the Category Varsity Team (Men's Basketball, Men's Athletics and Women's Athletics). This scholarship is only for a term of one year and can be renewed the following year based on the performance of the varsity player, his/her academic performance, and subject to the availability of funds with the recommendation from the Sports Director.

    b. Partial Athletic Scholarships;

      • A twenty percent (20%) Tuition Fee Discount is granted to a student who:
        • has been a PRISAA National Player the previous academic year; and
        • NO derogatory records.

      • A ten percent (10%) Tuition Fee Discount is granted to a student who:
        • has been a PRISAA Regional Player the previous academic year; and
        • NO derogatory records.
