Saint Columban College, in collaboration with the College of Business Education and the College of Computing Studies, had successfully hosted the Academe-Industry Dialogue on January 24, 2025 at the SCC Conference Room. In order to promote a match academic programs with industrial demands, the event brought together academic leaders, faculty, and industry partners. The program highlighted a lively roundtable discussion, informative presentations of the current academic offers, and the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which signifies a strengthened relationship aimed at improving students’ career preparedness.
The essence of this event is to bridge the gap between education and real-world industry demands, ensuring that SCC’s academic programs stay current and meet industry standards, which would eventually improve students’ employability and career preparation.
